Hi All,

In my project i want to test the USB port and its driver.

Scenario 1: (initially the system was in powered off stage).
1. Power on the system
2. Booted into NetBSD kernel.
3. Insert the USB stick...
4. Nothing happen.

Scenario 2: (system in on stage )
1. Reboot the system by reboot command
2. Booted into NetBSD kernel
3. Insert the USB stick
4. Able to detect the USB

Kindly advice how to solve the scenario one...

Thanks,
Gnana

Kindly advice how to solve the scenario one...
Hard to do as you give basically zero information about the hardware
involved. Usefull things to know would be the dmesg output of your
machine after booting, and in the working case the dmesg output after
attaching the usb stick.

Sorry Martin!

Kindly look up the attached putty log.

First time booted up with power on, next times booted by reboot
command, bit lengthy log...

Thanks,

Adding some more information...

The usb is connected to Ibex peak.

Please find the attached snap shot of conf registers given in the ibex
datasheet.

"These bits are not reset by a D3-to-D0 warm rest or a core well
reset." What does it mean?

Thanks,
Gnana
